Getting your car maintained or fixed shouldn’t be scary. As Vehicle Technician, you’ll play a key role within our Aftersales functions to help our customers feel well at home and receive an outstanding experience, as you give their beloved motor some well-deserved TLC in our state-of-the-art workshop using the latest tools and technology.
Whatever your background or experience level, if you’re an automotive technical guru, you could be the Vehicle Technician we’re looking for. Whether you’re newly qualified, semi-skilled or even a master technician/ mechanic, from a prestige, volume franchised or independent garage, as long as you’re dedicated to providing the best possible service getting your hands dirty, you’ll fit right in.
What do you need to succeed as a Vehicle Technician at The FastFit Centre?
- A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/ NVQ Level 2 / 4
- A full driving licence
- Your own set of tools
- Ability to prioritise your workload
- Supporting other technicians on site with development and technical issues
- Liaising with the Aftercare Specialist or directly with the customer to ensure effective resolutions of faults
- To maximise use of technical knowledge and skills to achieve effective, economic and safe service / repair of customers vehicles
- Excellent understanding of equipment, tools, systems and processes within a service department
