In 2014 a new type of air conditioning gas started to be introduced. The gas, called 1234yf, replaces previous refrigerants, as it produces 98% fewer climate-damaging pollutants than its predecessor, R134a. If your vehicle requires the new gas, this is available with us in Merseyside and the North West, as well as any of your air conditioning repair requirements. Does your air-con need re-charging?



Manufacturers recommend that your air-con is recharged every 1-2 years. As your car or van air conditioner is not checked as part of your MOT test and re-gassing is not typically included in your Service, it is important to make sure that you include recharging as part of your regular vehicle maintenance routine.
